Health Insurance Costs Increase Dramatically
A new study finds employers are paying 50 percent more on health insurance premiums for their employees than they did in 2003. And businesses are expecting their workers to take on a greater share of that cost. The study reveals employees pay 63 percent more for their health insurance than they did just eight years ago. In fact, the growing cost of health insurance coverage exceeds income growth, and premiums are buying individuals and families less and less coverage.
