Last week we brought you news that U.S. representatives are pushing legislation to eliminate the faulty formula used to pay physicians who care for Medicare patients. For more than a decade, the flawed formula has forced doctors out of the program, making it difficult for some Medicare patients to find a physician. Earlier this year, PBS’s Newshour talked to Texas physicians, Medicare patients, and Texas Medical Association Executive Vice President Lou Goodman, PhD, about this issue. Watch the video.
